Today's decadent college comfort food is brought to you by Leah Bright, one of my best college friends and consistent provider of delicious snacks. Our group of friends would often gather in the evenings and Leah would cook various treats.

These individual chocolate lava cakes are particularly nice on cold evenings with warm drinks... perfect for winter Sundays.

In addition to a traditional lineup of college comfort food, my Aunt Mish provided a range of recipes entitled "Meals to Impress Girls." These were originally intended for her two sons, and provided to me and my sister with the assumption that the fancier-than-comfort food would be just as impressive to any likely guys. I've had reports that this Hoisin and Citrus Shrimp Sauté has proved effective on at least one occasion.

Today's Sunday Dinner is perfect for the cold weather. It's a recipe for someone longing for a simple American classic: a messy bowl of delicious chili with a bonus crunch at the end.
