This is another recipe from Christine and Big John--a lovely couple who hosted me for a week of adventures in Seattle during my Junior year. John taught me to make chicken and dumplings, and this recipe has been one of my absolute favorite go-to meals since then. When John sent the recipe, he included the following note:
I am assuming everyone can boil water, use a knife without amputating a body appendage and read and follow directions on a box. The following has been enjoyed by family and groups of college students with no complaints (as you well know). As far as seasoning, I have never measured the amounts so add “to taste”.
